Does Align Accept Credit Cards?

Unfortunately we don’t accept credit cards at this time. The only way to initiate payment is through a bank (ex. ACH Direct Debit in the US) account.

Can I Use Align to Make Personal Transactions?

Align Commerce only caters to business payments.

How Do I Know My Payment/Info are Secure?

We use the most sophisticated data encryption protocols available. All information stored, shared or uploaded on the platform is encrypted with the most advanced protocols available. Align Commerce is Comodo certified.

How Fast Can We Transfer a Payment?

Once your account is setup and verified, we can process your international payments in 1-3 days. If you want to pre-fund your account, we can often process your payment in the same day.

How is Align Different from a Bank?

The largest difference is that we use more efficient “payment rails” or “plumbing” than a bank. When a bank sends money overseas, they are unable to send it directly to the receiving bank. Your money is actually passed through many cooperating “intermediary banks” until it reaches the destination bank. And every time an “intermediary bank” touches your funds, they take a small fee for themselves. In the end each movement through each “intermediary bank” costs you time and money.

Are Transactions Sent with Align Commerce Insured?

Align is insured against employee theft and external hacking and for losses due to operational errors and omissions.  Align’s insurance policies would respond in the event that funds in its possession are lost or stolen as a result of a breach of our physical security, cyber security, or as a result of employee theft.  Similarly, Align is covered if funds are lost due to errors or omissions in Align’s operations.  Align’s insurance policies contain standard policy exclusions, such as force majeure events and are subject to deductibles that Align would cover.

Align works with insurance carriers that hold high financial strength and credit ratings from external ratings agencies (A.M. Best, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch).
